We are completely independent of government funding and insurance payments, so there is no agency or insurance company prescribing care, limiting sessions or creating paperwork. Our Independent model relies on you. Help to insure the sustainability of our programs by donating to the cause.
SCCC believes that mental health care is a right, not a privilege. Anyone who needs counseling should have it. It is a belief we have lived for more than 50 years by providing affordable, sliding-scale counseling to people in need for as long as they need care.

On Saturday, April 29th, we will be celebrating our mission beneath the wings of the Space Shuttle Endeavour in the Samuel Oschin Pavilion at the California Science Center.
Dr. Sonja Lyubomirsky, renowned positive psychologist and best-selling author of The How of Happiness will be speaking.
The evening will also include an out-of-this-world silent auction, music, cocktails and dinner. We hope to see you there!
