Congratulations to the graduates of the 53rd Community Counselor Course!
“It wasn’t about learning as much as it was about unlearning. There is something that each individual has said in this class at some point that changed my perspective and that I’ll carry with me forever.”

Every January and July, the Southern California Counseling Center offers a six-month Community Counselor Course (CCC). CCC provides training, supervision and support for community members who are already involved, or are interested in helping high-risk populations and under-served communities. The course provides students with the opportunity to build a solid base of counseling skills alongside case workers and staff members from local non-profits and government agencies.
SCCC congratulates the July 2018 cohort of students who graduated this past Friday!
Many thanks to Marianne Diaz, the CCC faculty, and Marianne’s excellent crew of supervisors.
