Support Group for Heterosexual Men and Women
Living with HIV/AIDS


   • Do you feel isolated?
   • Does it feel like no one knows what you are going through?
   • Would you like others to talk with and share information with?

This group meets Thursday evenings from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at SCCC and is a collaboration with Aids Project Los Angeles.

There is no cost to participants.

ECONOMIC STRESS GROUP
These are hard times, but
YOU DON'T HAVE TO FACE THEM ALONE!

SCCC is offering a time-limited, low cost group to support people who are impacted by the current economic crisis. The group will provide peer support as well as techniques to cope with stress and reduce anxiety.

Meeting day and time: Monday afternoons, 4:00 - 5:45PM

NEW WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT GROUP FORMING
Be a part of this 10-week group where we will focus on different issues including: assertiveness, guilt & shame, depression, anger, self care, and healthy relationships. We will share our personal experiences as they relate to the themes, consider literature and helpful alternatives to our struggles, and receive feedback and support from group members and facilitators.

Group starting: February 19, 2009
Meeting day and time: Thursdays 6:00 to 7:30pm
Location: Southern California Counseling Center
Fee: $20 per meeting

  • Gives fathers the tools to participate actively in the rearing and well-being of their children

    Who should participate?
  • Project Fatherhood is designed for fathers of all ages, races and educational backgrounds, their children and their significant others.
